  • Abstract: Task-driven teaching methodology is a student-centered approach that drives student learning through the completion of specific tasks. This paper explores the application of task-driven teaching methodology in college speech courses, including its definition, characteristics, implementation steps, and specific cases. Through the analysis of practical cases, it demonstrates the effectiveness of task-driven teaching methodology in enhancing students’ speech abilities, stimulating their interest in learning, and promoting autonomous and cooperative learning. Meanwhile, it also discusses the challenges that may be encountered in the implementation process and corresponding strategies.任务驱动教学法是一种以学生为主体,通过完成具体任务来驱动学生学习的教学方法。本文探讨任务驱动教学法在大学演讲课程中的应用,包括其定义、特点、实施步骤及具体案例。通过实践案例分析,展示该教学法在提升学生演讲能力、增强学习兴趣、促进自主学习与合作学习等方面的效果,同时将讨论实施过程中可能遇到的挑战及应对策略。

  • Abstract: With the acceleration of globalization and the promotion of the Belt and Road Initiative, our country needs to cultivate a large number of interdisciplinary talents who are proficient in languages, technology and effective communication. Universities actively respond to the national strategy of new engineering construction and cultivate new engineering talents with global competency. This article analyzes the necessity and effectiveness of cultivating international competencies from the perspective of college English speech courses.随着全球化进程的不断加快以及“一带一路”倡议的稳步推进,国家需要培养大量会语言、懂技术、会沟通的复合型人才。作为人才培养前沿阵地的各高等院校积极响应国家的新工科建设战略,培养具有全球胜任力的新工科人才。本文从大学英语演讲课程的视角出发,分析了该课程对于培养国际胜任力的必要性和有效性。

From the perspective of English teaching that has the largest proportion of students in universities, this article analyzes the necessity and effectiveness of the college English speech course for international competency development.“一带一路”发展战略的推进和发展使高校面临更大的机遇和挑战,如何培养会语言、懂技术、善沟通且具有国际胜任力的青年人才这一问题亟待解决。本文从大学受众面最广的公共英语教学出发,分析了大学英语演讲课程对于国际胜任力培养的必要性和有效性。
