• Abstract: This paper expounds the position of plant protection in the sustainable development of agriculture, the main achievements of plant protection in Jiangsu Province since the founding of the people's Republic of China, and the development of plant protection technology in Jiangsu Province in the early 21st century. 文章详细阐述了植物保护在农业可持续发展中的地位，建国以来江苏省植保工作取得的主要成就，以及 21 世纪初江苏植保技术发展日标和重点技术选择。
