What is the Article Processing Charge (APC)?
As an open - access publisher, SCISCAN Publishing does not generate revenue through sales and subscriptions. Instead, all the articles we publish can be freely accessed online. Similar to other open - access publishers, SCISCAN Publishing will charge an Article Processing Charge once an article is accepted for publication. You can find the full details of the Article Processing Charge on the page of each individual journal. An invoice will be provided after the editorial department confirms the payment. Paper Template
SCISCAN Publishing does not require a specific article layout or format for journal submissions. We aim to make it as convenient and efficient as possible for authors to submit their articles. As long as authors provide all the necessary information for the article, they can submit their papers in their own style.
However, for the convenience of submission, we do offer an optional template to assist authors in submitting articles in a standardized format. We recommend that you use this template and also refer to the Author Guidelines page of the journal you are submitting to in order to understand the specific requirements of certain journals.
Copyright
All journals on SCISCAN Publishing are open access. This means that all articles are immediately and freely available upon publication. Articles in the journals of SCISCAN Publishing can be downloaded, shared, and reused without restrictions, as long as proper citation of the original article is provided.
SCISCAN Publishing always maintains an open - minded attitude towards the rights of authors. Under the Attribution (CC BY) clause of the Creative Commons license, SCISCAN Publishing also respects and recognizes the right of reuse. If authors wish to protect more rights, the journal will follow the Attribution - NonCommercial (CC BY - NC) clause of the Creative Commons license to address the special requests made by the authors. Meanwhile, the Creative Commons license meets the standards set by OASPA for the right of reuse and the regulations of DOAJ. All articles published by SCISCAN Publishing clearly indicate copyright and the right of reuse in accordance with the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY or CC BY - NC). SCISCAN Publishing allows readers to grant the journal a non - exclusive copyright. Therefore, authors can continuously retain their own copyright without any conditional restrictions.
