• Abstract: The practice of embedding community policing into the diversified dispute resolution mechanism in District D of City W has achieved remarkable results, yet its practice still faces certain dilemmas. Generally speaking, the unbalanced allocation structure of grass-roots community policing resources hinders the efficient operation of the diversified dispute resolution mechanism; gaps exist in relevant laws, leading to unclear functions and powers of community policing when embedded in the diversified dispute resolution mechanism; mediators find it difficult to avoid the influence of emotional factors, resulting in unfairness in quite a number of individual dispute resolution cases. In response to these issues, it is necessary to further clarify the legal basis for community policing mediation and improve legislative support; perfect and optimize the grass-roots community policing resource allocation mechanism to establish a sound resource allocation structure; encourage social capital to participate in the diversified community dispute resolution and build a diversified mediation team, so as to solve the problem of unfairness in individual cases to the greatest extent. By summarizing the experience of District D in City W, this paper can provide certain theoretical support and practical reference for promoting the optimization of community policing embedded in the diversified dispute resolution, help innovate community governance and promote harmonious social development. W市D区社区警务嵌入多元解纷机制的成果颇丰，但其实践也面临着一定困境。总体上，基层社区警务资源分配格局不协调，影响多元解纷机制的高效运行；相关法律存在空白，社区警务嵌入多元解纷机制的职权不明晰；调解者难以避免情感因素影响，纠纷解决出现较多个案不公。对此，应进一步明确社区警务调解的法律依据，完善立法支撑；健全和优化基层社区警务资源分配机制，构建良好的社区警务资源分配格局；鼓励社会资本参与社区多元纠纷解决，构建多元化调解团队，最大限度地解决个案不公问题。本文通过总结W市D区经验，可为推动社区警务嵌入优化多元纠纷解决机制提供一定的理论支持和实践借鉴，为社区治理创新推进社会和谐发展做出贡献。
