• 摘要： 新闻评议会和新闻监察员办公室作为爱尔兰的新闻自律机构，旨在为公众提供快速、公正和免费的新闻投诉渠道，受理有关新闻投诉的事件。爱尔兰新闻自律机构制定了详细的投诉与上诉流程，出台了统一的业务准则规范，以保证其在运行过程中有所依据。近年来，爱尔兰新闻自律机构受理的投诉主要涉及媒体报道有违真实性与准确性和侵犯隐私等方面的问题。在处理投诉的过程中，爱尔兰新闻自律机构秉持非对抗的协商理念，并因其受理投诉的范围相对广泛，一定程度上拓宽了公众参与媒体治理的途径，推动了爱尔兰媒体生态的良性发展。
• The Press Council of Ireland and the Office of the Press Ombudsman is Irish self-regulatory organization for the press. This body provides the public with a fast, fair and free channel for news complaints and matters related to press complaints. The Irish Press Self-Regulatory Organization has formulated a detailed complaint and appeal process, and issued an ethics code to ensure that it has a basis in its operation. In the past five years, complaints received by the Irish Press Self-Regulatory Organization mainly involve issues such as violation of the authenticity and accuracy of media reports and invasion of privacy. In the process of handling complaints, the Irish Press Self-Regulatory Organization upholds the concept of non-confrontational negotiation. It has broadened the channels for the public to participate in media governance to a certain extent because there were relatively wide range of complaints. This organization promoted the healthy development of the Irish media ecosystem.
