• Abstract: Democracy is the common value for all mankind, and also the important concept for the CPC and Chinese people adhere to. Journalists contribute to our times with their social responsibility and professional quality. Marx once said: “The freedom to express opinions is the most sacred of all freedoms, because it is the basis of everything.” Whether or not to tell the truth and how to tell the truth well is an important part of the development of democracy in the whole process, as well as the professional pursuit and social contribution of journalists. Today, in the whole process of democracy, we should be brave in telling the truth, advocate and reward telling the truth, be good at telling the truth, and improve the expression art and skills of telling the truth; Oppose lying, criticize and punish lying-establish a good public opinion environment and management system of political ecology. 民主是全人类的共同价值，是中国共产党和中国人民始终不渝坚持的重要理念。新闻人以其社会责任和职业素养贡献于我们的时代。马克思曾经说过：“发表意见的自由是一切自由中最神圣的，因为它是一切的基础。”能否讲真话，怎样讲好真话，是发展全过程民主的重要内容，是新闻人的职业追求和社会贡献。今天，我们要在全过程民主进程中，勇于讲真话，提倡和奖励讲真话，善于讲好真话，提高讲真话的表达艺术和技巧；反对讲假话，批评和惩罚讲假话——建立一种良好政治生态的舆论环境和管理体制。
