Abstract:
The discussion on female appearance has existed since ancient times, but in the era of visual
culture, the mass media has established the standard of female appearance beauty with its powerful
influence, and women’s pursuit of appearance and beauty has presented a new pattern, which leads to
the problem of appearance anxiety has been widely discussed, and appearance anxiety has become a
realistic dilemma faced by modern women. Based on this, from the perspective of visual culture, this
paper analyzes the causes of female appearance anxiety, and believes that the cognitive bias under
mimicry environment, the value loss under brainwashing marketing and the double trapped under
visual consumption culture are the main causes, and proposes solutions from the perspective of women
themselves and the media, in order to promote the solution of female appearance anxiety.
关于女性容貌问题的讨论古已有之,但在视觉文化时代,大众传媒以其强大的影响力为女性的容貌美制定了统一标准,女性对于容貌美的追求也呈现出了新的样态,从而使得有关容貌焦虑的问题再次引起了人们的关注,容貌焦虑成了现代女性所切实面临的现实困境。基于此,本文从视觉文化视角出发,分析了女性容貌焦虑的成因,认为拟态环境下的认知偏差、洗脑营销下的价值迷失和视觉消费文化下的双重围困是其主要成因,并从女性本身、制度规定和媒体的角度提出解决措施,以期促进女性容貌焦虑问题的解决。
