  • Abstract: Withtheaccelerationoftheiterationspeedofthefully-mechanizedexcavationmachine,theproblemof‘imbalancebetweenexcavationandsupport‘inthefully-mechanizedexcavationroadwayisbecomingmoreandmoreserious.Temporarysupportisthekeypartofroadwayexcavationandthekeytodeterminingthesafeandefficientproductionofcoalmines.Thedevelopmentandresearchoftemporarysupportisthekeydirectionatpresent.Thispaperexpoundsthetechnicaldevelopmentprocessoftemporarysupportfromtraditionalsupporttothemechanizedperiodandfinallytotheintelligentperiod.Commontemporarysupportequipment,suchasfrontbeamtemporarysupport,singlehydraulicproptemporarysupport,stepself-movingtemporarysupportandairbornetemporarysupport,wasanalyzedtheadvantagesanddisadvantagesofvarioustypesofequipment.Accordingtothecurrentphenomenonof“miningimbalance“incoalmines,thepolicyof“equalemphasisonminingandtunnelingfirst“shouldbeimplemented,andcorrespondingmeasuresshouldbetaken,suchasdevelopingacoalroadwaytunnelingrobotsystemtointegrate“excavation,““branch,““transportation“and“communication,“integratingequipmentwiththeInternetofThings,5Gcommunication,artificialintelligenceandsoontopromotetheintelligenceoftemporarysupportequipment.
