- Abstract: As the last song of the first small theatre movement in China, Peiping Small Theatre has made many works sensational and triggered academic discussion. Through the combing of historical documents, it can be seen that Peiping Small Theater not only carried out beneficial practice of small theater drama, but also never stopped to think deeply about drama theory and explore the essence of drama. Its unique propaganda strategy helped the small theater movement gain wider acceptance. Although Peiping Small Theater has not been continuously practicing drama, it has had a positive and far-reaching impact on drama publicity, cultivated many outstanding drama talents, profoundly affected the public's cognition of drama, and made important contributions to the vigorous development of the small theater movement. 北平小剧院作为中国第一次小剧场运动的绝唱，多部作品轰动一时，引发学界讨论。通过对历史文献的梳理可见北平小剧院不仅对小剧场戏剧进行了有益实践，同时也从未停止对戏剧理论进行深入思考，对戏剧本质进行探讨。其独特的宣传策略使得小剧场运动得以更广泛地被接受。尽管北平小剧院并未一直持续进行戏剧实践，但其在戏剧宣传方面产生了积极而深远的影响，培养了许多优秀的戏剧人才，深刻地影响了公众对于戏剧的认知，为小剧场运动的蓬勃发展作出了重要贡献。
