• Abstract: Under the strategy of “Sports Empowering Rural Revitalization”, grassroots basketball events such as “Village BA” have emerged as a vital driver of rural development. Taking Dongguan, Guangdong Province as a case study, this research adopts the event legacy theory and the “Five Revitalizations” framework of rural revitalization to analyze the multidimensional value of rural basketball events. By using literature review, case study and field research methods, the study explores five key dimensions: industry development, talent cultivation, cultural identity, ecological sustainability, and governance innovation. The findings show that “Village BA” not only stimulates local economy and tourism but also strengthens community cohesion, cultural branding, and grassroots capacity-building. Based on this, the paper puts forward five strategic paths to optimize development, which contributes both theoretically and practically to the field of rural sports governance. 在“体育助力乡村振兴”战略引导下，群众性篮球赛事“村BA”成为激活基层发展动能的重要抓手。本文以广东省东莞市为案例，基于事件遗产理论与乡村振兴“五个振兴”分析框架，综合运用文献分析法、案例研究法与实地调研法，从产业、人才、文化、生态、组织五个维度系统分析“村BA”赛事在乡村社会中的价值逻辑与实践路径。研究发现，村级篮球赛事不仅促进了乡村文体旅游融合与消费增长，也推动了基层治理协同、文化认同构建与本土人才体系搭建。在此基础上，本文提出包括赛事政策制度化、组织治理协同化、文化品牌本土化、生态场景绿色化与人才机制体系化在内的五项优化路径。研究丰富了群众体育与乡村振兴交叉领域的理论体系，具有重要的学术与实践价值。
