AIGC-driven Transformation of Oral English Expression in Higher Vocational Colleges Driven by Empathetic Communication

• Abstract: The quick growth of Artificial Intelligence-Generated Content (AIGC) technology has profoundly altered traditional information distribution paradigms and established ideal circumstances for the innovative transformation of English-language education in higher vocational education. Currently, English language instruction in higher vocational education primarily emphasizes linguistic form over meaning, leading to; there is a critical absence of integration of emotional elements and cultural implications, making it impossible to satisfy the practical needs of intercultural communication and cultural dissemination. This study develops an AIGCdriven empathetic communication framework integrating the theory of empathetic communication, practical applications of AIGC technology, and research on second language acquisition. It thoroughly examines the internal logic through which this architecture promotes English language acquisition via scenario development, participatory communication, and real-time feedback, and provides concrete teaching implementation techniques. The findings suggest that AIGC may be an effective interactive communication tool. By leveraging the emotional stimulation, perspective-shifting, and feedback-reinforcement properties of empathetic communication, it successfully boosts learners’ motivation to express, improves their communication skills, and enhances their understanding of cultural transmission. This research offers theoretical backing for the shift of English language teaching in higher vocational education from simple skill training to deep-level meaning construction in the AIGC era, with important consequences for developing technical and vocational skills with worldwide communication capabilities.
