• Abstract: In response to the increasingly prominent problems of urban land use reduction and population density increase in first- and second-tier cities, through the design and research of the fifth facade of the building, the design method and space use of the fifth facade of the building are analyzed, and the urban development is solved and improved. Ecological and environmental problems in the In the design of the fifth facade of existing buildings in China, the actual renovation design and roof utilization rate are not high, because of this, the renovation design of the fifth facade has great potential space. Through the interpretation of relevant design cases, in-depth discussion of the design and application of the fifth facade of the building in different regions, 针对一二线城市日益突出的市区用地减少和人口密度增加的问题，通过对建筑第五立面的设计研究，分析了建筑第五立面的设计方法和空间运用方式，以及解决和改善城市发展中出现的生态环境问题。在中国现有的建筑第五立面设计中，现实的改造设计和屋顶使用率并不高，正因如此第五立面的改造设计有极大的潜力空间。通过相关设计的案例解读，深入探讨建筑第五立面在不同的地域、空间环境、受众人群、使用功能、空间规划等多个方面的设计应用。
