- Abstract: The new network media technology has a profound impact on the traditional education and a new challenge. Based on the perspective of higher education, this paper puts forward that the Internet new media is the “third classroom” of higher education, analyzes the typical characteristics of the Internet new media, studies and puts forward the thinking methods, implementation paths and typical cases of using the Internet new media to carry out education. 网络新媒体技术对传统的教育产生了深刻影响和全新挑战。本文基于高等教育的视角，提出互联网新媒体是高等教育的“第三课堂”，剖析了互联网新媒体的典型特征，研究提出运用互联网新媒体开展教育的思路方法、实施路径和典型案例。
