• Abstract: With the continuous progress of society, the contradiction between human living environment and economic development is becoming more and more prominent, and environmental problems gradually become the focus of people’s attention. We should not only develop the economy, but also protect the environment. This has been the consensus of mankind. In the final analysis, the relationship between economic development and environmental protection is the relationship between man and nature. China’s economic development has entered a historical period of all-round upsurge, so it is necessary to study the relationship between resources and environment and economic development, which is the subject that China’s sustainable development must face and the urgent task to solve. In order to deal with the contradiction between man and nature and the relationship between economic development and environmental protection, we should actively take various measures to protect and improve the ecological environment and living environment, develop and utilize natural resources more rationally, and prevent pollution and other public hazards. 随着社会的不断进步，人类生存环境与经济发展的矛盾越来越突出，环境问题逐渐成为人们关注的焦点。既要发展经济，更要注重保护环境，这已经是全人类的共识。归根到底经济发展与环境保护的关系就是人与自然的关系。中国经济发展已经进入了全面高涨的历史时期，因此必须研究资源环境和经济发展之间的关系，这是我国可持续发展必须面对的课题和需要迫切解决的任务。积极采取各种措施保护并改善生态环境与生活环境，更合理地开发和利用自然资源，并防治污染与其他公害，才能处理好人与自然的矛盾以及经济发展与环境保护之间的关系。
