余华《兄弟》中黑色幽默的翻译研究

• Abstract: Yu Hua is one of the representatives of Chinese Avant-garde Novel. two volumes of his novel Brothers were published by Shanghai Literature and art press in 2005 and 2006 respectively and has aroused great repercussions among ordinary readers and literary circles in China. The English version of Brothers, later published in America by Random House at the beginning of 2009, has caused quite a stir in the English-speaking world. In just a few months, there have been more than 20 book reviews, including magazine editors, writers, translators, critics and sociologists, which shows the wide range of attention. This article mainly discusses the translation problems of the black humor in brothers from the aspects of character image, scene description and narrative language. It is believed that the translator can reproduce the narrative effect of black humor in the original text better and make the narrative style of the story better reappeared and conveyed. 余华是中国先锋派小说的代表人物之一。余华的《兄弟》上下部分别于2005年和2006年由上海文艺出版社出版，随后在国内普通读者中间和文学界都引起了极大的反响。余华的《兄弟》英译本Brothers于2009年年初由兰登书屋（Random House）在美国出版后，在英语世界里引起了不小的轰动。短短几个月的时间里，书评就达二十余篇，参与评论的有杂志主编、作家、翻译家、评论家、社会学家，可见关注范围之广。本文主要从人物形象层面、场景描写层面和叙事语言层面探讨了《兄弟》中黑色幽默的翻译问题，认为译者比较好地再现了原文中的黑色幽默叙事效果，让故事本身的叙事风格得到了比较好的再现和传达。
