Abstract:
This article provides a concise review of the causes behind the fluctuations in the status of foreign language pronunciation teaching over the past century. It highlights that the internal driving force for its development stems from learning needs dictated by societal demands. And points out that we are witnessing a resurgence of foreign language pronunciation teaching,which is entering a new era marked by communicative-oriented instruction, and offers comprehensive support for multi-level and diversified autonomous learning.
本文简要回顾了近百年来外语语音教学地位起伏变化的动因,指出社会需求引导下的学习需要是决定其发展走向的内在动力。当前,外语语音教学正处于地位的回升期,正迎来一个以教学交际化为特点、全面支持多层次与多元化自主学习的新时代。
