Modern Educational Value of Traditional Sports: A Preliminary Study on the Influence of Participating in Dragon Dance on Responsible Leadership of College Students

Abstract:
Explore the value of dragon dance in modern physical education, so that the traditional Culture of the
Chinese nation can be inherited and developed in schools. In order to explore the relationship between dragon
dance participation and college students’ responsible leadership, the social responsible leadership scale was used
as a survey tool, and the differences of responsible leadership among different participants were compared by
mathematical statistics. The results showed that college students who participated in dragon dance scored higher in
responsible leadership and various dimensions than those who did not participate in dragon dance, and the longer they
participated in dragon dance, the higher their scores were. Conclusion: Participation in dragon dance has an important
role in promoting responsible leadership development of college students.
发掘舞龙运动在现代体育教育中所蕴含的价值,让中华民族传统文化在学校中得到传承与发展。为探寻舞龙运动参与对大学生负责任领导力的关系,采用调查研究法以社会责任型领导力量表作为调查工具,运用数理统计法比较负责任领导力在不同参与者之间的差异性。结果发现参与舞龙运动的大学生在负责任领导力以及各维度上的得分高于未参与舞龙运动的大学生,且参与舞龙时间越长,得分越高。得出结论:参与舞龙运动对于大学生发展负责任领导力具有重要促进作用。
