• Abstract: As the core carrier for disseminating Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization and promoting the construction of ecological civilization, ecological civilization education holds an irreplaceable value in addressing global environmental challenges and facilitating the building of a Beautiful China. This paper elaborates on the value connotation of ecological civilization education from three dimensions: ethics, society, and individuals. In constructing the legal path, with socialism with Chinese characteristics as the ideological foundation and Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization as the fundamental guideline, this paper proposes establishing a hierarchical legal system dominated by the Education Code, based on environmental protection-related laws, centered on the Ecological Civilization Education Law, and supported by local regulations. This aims to realize the legalized and standardized development of ecological civilization education, providing solid support for building a powerful education country and the sustainable development of the Chinese nation. 生态文明教育作为传播习近平生态文明思想、推动生态文明建设的核心载体，在破解全球环境难题、助力美丽中国建设中具有不可替代的价值。本文从伦理、社会、个体三个维度阐释生态文明教育的价值意蕴。在法治路径构建上，以中国特色社会主义文化为思想基础，以习近平生态文明思想为根本遵循，提出构建以教育法典为统领、环境保护相关法为基础、生态文明教育法为核心、地方条例为主体的层级化法律体系，实现生态文明教育的法治化、规范化发展，为教育强国建设与中华民族永续发展提供坚实支撑。
