• Abstract: The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China emphasizes the continuation and development of the “Fengqiao Experience” in the grassroots level of society, aiming to resolve conflicts and disputes at the grassroots level and prevent them from escalating. The non-litigation dispute resolution mechanism, as an important measure for maintaining social fairness and justice, is of great significance in responding to the new demands of the people. Taking the Comprehensive Governance Center of Dongtai City as an example, through field research and interview methods, this paper analyzes the problems of standardization, collaboration, precision, specialization, and intelligence in the operation of the non-litigation mediation mechanism for grassroots social conflicts, and proposes optimization suggestions from five dimensions: institutional norms, collaborative operation, targeted mediation, talent cultivation, and intelligent empowerment, providing reference for the development of the non-litigation mediation mechanism for grassroots social conflicts.
