  • Abstract: Complex variable functions and integral transforms serve as a cornerstone mathematics course for engineering disciplines, uniquely bridging abstract theoretical reasoning with authentic engineering applications. Traditional teaching overemphasis on theoretical derivations and formulaic recall, while lacking engineering practical training. As a result, there is a separation between students’ theoretical knowledge and engineering practice, and ultimately limiting the development of robust mathematical application competence. Therefore, this paper proposes a “emphasizing application over theory” differentiated teaching model. Teaching reforms are carried out from four aspects: reconstructing the course knowledge system, optimizing classroom teaching methods, building an engineering practice platform, and improving the multi-dimensional assessment system. The complex and pure mathematical derivations are simplified, and teaching is carried out closely to the core knowledge points and engineering application scenarios, focusing on cultivating students’ abilities in mathematical modeling, engineering calculation, and comprehensive problem-solving, which can provide practical references for the optimization of engineering mathematics foundation course teaching. 复变函数与积分变换是工科专业的核心数学基础课,兼具抽象理论属性与工程实用价值。传统教学侧重理论推演与公式识记,缺少工程实操训练,致使学生理论知识与工程实践割裂,数学应用水平偏弱。为此,本文提出“浅理论、重应用”差异化教学模式。从重构课程知识体系、优化课堂教学方法、搭建工程实践平台、完善多元考核体系四方面开展教学改革,简化艰深纯数学推导,紧扣核心知识点与工程应用场景开展教学,着力培养学生数学建模、工程运算与综合问题求解能力,可为工科数学基础课程教学优化提供实践参考。
