Abstract:
Female college students from rural areas in western China commonly face a “self-limiting” dilemma caused by structural factors, and traditional financial aid models are insufficient to address their developmental needs fundamentally. From the theoretical perspective of “four-all education,” this study takes the 16-year practice of Guangxi Normal University’s “Golden Phoenix Program” as a case to systematically analyze its exploratory experiences across four dimensions: educational stakeholders, educational processes, educational dimensions, and educational contexts. The research finds that the “Golden Phoenix Program” has effectively promoted the transition of female students from passive recipients of assistance to proactive agents of personal growth by establishing a collaborative network involving multiple stakeholders, a four-stage progressive development framework, a multidimensional support system, and an integrated resource-sharing mechanism connecting campus and community. This case provides a practical model worthy of reference for student affairs in universities in western China.
