• Abstract: As one of the hot topics in Audio Visual Translation Studies, Audio description enables the people who are blind or visually impaired to get access to the visual information by means of verbal description. Translating Audio Description Scripts—Translation as a New Strategy of Creating Audio Description by Anna Jankowska works on the scripts created through the application of the translation strategy and concludes that the cost in making the script is therefore decreased and the translated scripts are better accepted. The book is also of great significance for the theoretical research of audiovisual translation and the training of translation talents. 口述影像是近年来视听翻译研究的热点问题之一，是指利用口头讲述的方式帮助盲人或者视障者感知视觉媒体画面内容的过程。文本制作在口述影像全过程中具有关键的基础性作用。《口述影像文本翻译》一书以口述影像的文本翻译为研究对象，指出文本翻译这种方法不仅可以节约制作成本，而且还具有更好的接受效果。该书对于视听翻译理论研究与翻译人才培养也具有重要的启发意义。
