儿童绘本翻译风格再现与再造

• 摘要： 儿童绘本是儿童文学的一个特殊门类，近年来一个十分突出的问题是：儿童绘本翻译质量堪忧，可读性 不强，这和儿童绘本翻译风格的再现和再造息息相关。本文试图厘清儿童绘本翻译风格再现和再造之间的概念区别。本文认为：好的绘本翻译应该基于目标儿童读者，根据原语和译入语之间的语言文化要素异同，选择正确的翻译手段使译作风格符合目标儿童读者的思维、情感和审美习惯；而这一目标的实现 需要以现有翻译理论和策略为导向，确保译作在语音、语相和语篇等儿童绘本翻译要素上兼顾翻译风格的再现和再造，服务于目标读者。
• Children’s picture books, as a branch of children’s literature, are being challenged with translation problems in readability, which is closely related to style reproduction and transformation in translation. This paper attempts to differentiate the concepts of style reproduction and transformation in translating children’s picture books. It’s believed that quality translation of children’s picture books should serve the target readers with proper translation methods based on culture differences between the source and target language, and the style translation should comply with target children’s thinking, emotional and aesthetic values, which can be achieved only by a combination of style reproduction and transformation in terms of phonetics, phonological and discourse translation in children’s picture books.
