• Abstract: The vision of “community with a shared future for mankind” has served as the Chinese philosophy and approach towards the complex world situation and a variety of global issues in practices of global governance. This paper adopts the discourse-historical approach (DHA) and corpus methods to conduct research on news reports from the British media over the past decade related to this concept. The analysis is conducted from three perspectives: subject analysis, discourse strategies, and language resources. The research findings reveal that this concept is relatively underrepresented in British media and receives limited attention. Moreover, this study illustrates that the wisdom and connotation of this concept, such as its view of international power relations, common interests, sustainable development and global governance, are generally distorted by the British media. This study suggests that an in-depth demonstration on translation and dissemination of “community with a shared future for mankind” will help to better respond to concerns of the international communities and build a fair, objective and comprehensive image of China in the world. 人类命运共同体是中国参与全球治理、应对世界复杂形势和各种全球性问题的中国智慧和中国方案。本文采用话语历史分析（Discourse-historical approach，简称DHA）和语料库方法，从主题分析、话语策略、话语实践和语言资源三个层面对近十年涉及人类命运共同体理念的英国媒体新闻报道进行研究。研究发现：该理念在英国报道较少，受关注度较低。其所蕴涵的国际权力观、共同利益观、可持续发展观和全球治理观基本上都被英国媒体扭曲。本研究深度把握新时代中国特色政治话语在英国的传播状况，有助于我们知己知彼、对症下药，更好地讲好中国故事，传播中国声音。
