Abstract:
Male kindergarten teachers play an indispensable and important role in the
development of children. However, the professional prejudice caused by traditional
gender stereotypes and the lack of sense of belonging caused by gender differences
will hinder the professional development of male kindergarten teachers. Through
the promotion of male kindergarten teachers’ advantages to reduce prejudice, the
combination of indifference requirements and individualized training can help to
give full play to the gender advantages of male kindergarten teachers and promote
their professional development. Both men and women are competent for the work
of preschool teachers, and each has its own advantages. Comprehensive and positive
development is the ideal effect. After efforts, the recognition of male kindergarten
teachers and parents’ participation form a virtuous circle, and the professional
promotion of male kindergarten teachers and the growth and development of children
form a virtuous circle.
男幼师对幼儿发展具有不可或缺的重要作用,但传统的性别刻板印象造成的职业偏见、性别差异导致的归属感缺失等因素都会阻碍男幼师的专业发展。通过宣传男幼师的优势以削减偏见、无差别要求与个性化培养相结合等措施都有助于发挥男幼师的性别优势,促进其专业发展。男性与女性均可胜任幼儿教师工作,各自都有优势,全面而正向的发展是较为理想的成效。经过努力,男幼师的被认可度与家长参与度形成良性循环、男幼师的专业提升与幼儿的成长发展形成了良性循环。
