  • Abstract: This study focuses on the reform of ideological and political education in public English courses for hearing-impaired postgraduates. To address their language acquisition barriers and cultural identity needs, a systematic reform path is proposed based on multimodal teaching resources and the Production-Oriented Approach (POA). By analyzing the current teaching practices, the study identifies disconnections among teaching objectives, methods, and evaluations: Traditional content overemphasizes instrumental language skills while neglecting value-oriented guidance; teaching methods lack innovation tailored to the visual cognitive characteristics of hearing-impaired students; and evaluation systems fail to cover ideological literacy and cross-cultural competence. To resolve these issues, this research constructs a “Language-Ideology-Profession” integrated teaching model, develops visual resources such as sign-language videos and virtual simulations incorporating Chinese cultural themes, designs thematic debates and practical tasks, and establishes a dynamic multi-dimensional evaluation system. Preliminary practices demonstrate that the reform effectively enhances students’ language application abilities and cultural identity, providing theoretical frameworks and practical references for ideological and political education reform in special education. 本研究聚焦听障研究生公共英语课程思政改革,针对其语言习得障碍与文化认同需求,提出基于多模态教学资源与产出导向法的系统性改革路径。通过分析教学现状,发现课程存在教学目标、方法与评价的脱节问题:传统内容偏重工具性语言能力培养,忽视价值观引领;教学方法缺乏适配听障学生视觉化认知特征的创新;评价体系未能覆盖思政素养与跨文化能力。为此,本研究构建“语言—思政—专业”三位一体教学模式,开发融入中华文化主题的手语视频、虚拟仿真等视觉化资源,设计主题辩论与实践任务,并建立动态多元评价体系。初步实践表明,改革有效提升了学生的语言应用能力与文化认同感,为特殊教育领域课程思政改革提供了理论框架与实践参考。
