• Abstract: Objective: To explore the influence of negative life events on depression among college students and its underlying mechanism. Methods: A total of 400 college students were measured using the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale, the Adolescent Life Events Scale, the College Students’ Mobile Phone Addiction Scale, and the Academic Burnout Scale. Results: (1) Negative life events, mobile phone addiction, academic burnout and depression among college students are all positively correlated with each other. (2) Negative life events not only directly affected depression among college students but also indirectly affected it through three mediating paths: the sole mediating effect of mobile phone addiction; the sole mediating effect of academic burnout; and the chain mediating effect of mobile phone addiction and academic burnout. The total indirect effect was 0.11, accounting for 31.43% of the total effect. Conclusion: Negative life events can directly affect depression among college students and also indirectly influence their depression levels by triggering problematic behaviors such as mobile phone addiction and academic burnout. 目的：探究负性生活事件对大学生抑郁的影响及其作用机制。方法：采用流调中心抑郁量表、青少年生活事件量表、大学生手机成瘾量表、学业倦怠量表对400名大学生进行测量。结果：（1）大学生负性生活事件、手机成瘾、学业倦怠，以及抑郁之间两两正相关。（2）负性生活事件不仅直接影响大学生抑郁，而且间接影响大学生抑郁，存在三条中介路径：手机成瘾的单独中介作用；学业倦怠的单独中介作用；手机成瘾和学业倦怠的链式中介作用，三条中介路径的总间接效应值为0.11，中介效应占比为31.43%。结论：负性生活事件既可以直接对大学生抑郁产生影响，也可以通过引发手机成瘾和学业倦怠等问题行为间接影响大学生的抑郁水平。
