Abstract:
As a core applied course for psychology majors, Group Psychological Counseling faces problems such as the disconnection between theory and practice, low student participation, superficial integration of curriculum ideology and politics, and single evaluation methods in traditional teaching. Combining traditional Chinese culture with the requirements of the New Liberal Arts and the “Four New” initiatives, this study has explored for 12 years to establish an integrated teaching model of “foundation building - empowerment - evaluation” and innovate a three-dimensional path for ideological and political integration, realizing the coordinated educational development of psychological and moral education. The reform has effectively improved classroom performance and comprehensively enhanced students’ comprehensive literacy and professional competence. The course has been awarded the title of First-Class Social Practice Course for Undergraduate Universities in Guangdong Province, and its reform model is worthy of wide promotion and reference.
