Abstract:
Postgraduates are confronted with intertwined pressures including academic research, study assessment, employment competition and interpersonal adaptation, with a significantly higher detection rate of depression and anxiety risks than the general population. Their mental health problems are marked by strong concealment, prominent individual differences and difficulties in early crisis identification. The traditional extensive and one-size-fits-all mental health education fails to meet the realistic demand for personalized and targeted psychological services. Relying on multi-source data perception, intelligent analysis and adaptive feedback, artificial intelligence provides new technical support for the paradigm transformation of postgraduate mental health education and the improvement of students’ psychological literacy. This paper constructs an integrated education model of “One Assessment, One Intervention Plan, One Personal Profile”. “One Assessment” refers to intelligent psychological evaluation covering self-cognition, interpersonal communication, stress coping and emotion regulation to accurately identify students’ psychological conditions; “One Intervention Plan” means generating personalized intervention schemes via a classified strategy library with eight modules; “One Personal Profile” represents a dynamic growth file tracking students’ psychological development throughout their postgraduate stage. This study interprets the internal mechanism of AI-enabled mental health education from three dimensions of value logic, technical logic and practical logic, and constructs practical approaches from four levels: technology, mechanism, talent team and campus culture. It further reviews potential risks such as data ethics, model validity and algorithmic bias, and advocates maintaining a reasonable balance between technical rationality and humanistic care, so as to realize the transformation of postgraduate mental health education from a uniform model to personalized services for every single student.
