• Abstract: Spatial governance represents a concrete practice and core pathway for the modernization of national governance within the realm of territorial space. Systematically reviewing research progress on spatial governance in the new era is of great theoretical significance and practical value for advancing the construction of the national governance system. Existing studies have conducted relatively systematic explorations surrounding the conceptual connotation, theoretical origins, institutional instruments, and practical forms of spatial governance, accumulating a rich body of research findings. However, current research still faces challenges such as insufficient theoretical integration and innovation, weak investigation of micro-level mechanisms, a lack of evaluation systems for governance effectiveness, and a need for stronger interdisciplinary convergence. Future research should be grounded in Chinese experiences to construct localized theories with strong explanatory power; deepen the analysis of process mechanisms and actors at the micro level; develop scientific tools for evaluating governance effectiveness; and strengthen forward-looking research on emerging issues such as digital governance and climate change adaptation. These efforts are essential to better respond to the urgent demands of the times for high-level spatial governance. 空间治理是国家治理现代化在国土空间领域的具体实践与核心路径。系统梳理新时代空间治理的研究进展，对于推进国家治理体系建设具有重要的理论意义与实践价值。现有研究围绕空间治理的概念内涵、理论渊源、制度手段与实践形式等方面展开了较为系统的探讨，积累了较为丰富的研究成果。然而，现有研究仍存在理论整合与创新不足、微观机制研究薄弱、治理效能评估体系缺失、多学科交叉融合尚需加强等问题。未来研究应立足中国经验，构建具有解释力的本土化理论；深化微观层面的过程机制与行动者分析；开发科学的治理效能评估工具，并加强对数字治理、气候变化适应等新兴议题的前瞻性研究，以更好地回应时代对高水平空间治理的迫切需求。
