Abstract:
The dissemination of revolutionary culture is central to passing down the revolutionary legacy, and as key vehicles for this mission, revolutionary memorial halls must evolve to meet the needs of their audiences. Guided by constructivist theory, this paper focuses on the Ye Ting Independent Regiment Memorial Hall to explore pathways for embodied communication. By analyzing the current state of practice across three key elements—space, media technology, and social interaction—the study identifies issues such as dimensional fragmentation, superficial experiences, and deviations from objectives. The study reveals a synergistic mechanism among these three elements— “spatial foundation, technological empowerment, and interactive sublimation”—and proposes optimization strategies based on this framework: at the spatial level, reconstructing scenarios and deepening the emotional resonance of symbols to create immersive contexts; at the technological level, adhering to the principle of content adaptation to achieve precise, interactive immersion; and at the social interaction level, building scenarios for co-creation of meaning through embodied narration, themed activities, and online integration.
