  • Abstract: Sleep disorders pose a substantial public health burden globally. Evidence continues to mount regarding the role of physical activity as a safe and effective non-pharmacological intervention for improving sleep quality in adults. Objective This study conducts a bibliometric analysis to map the knowledge structure, research trends, and collaborative networks in the field of exercise interventions and sleep quality in adults. Methods A total of 800 relevant articles published between 2007 and 2025 were selected from the Web of Science Core Collection. CiteSpace and Excel were used to perform co-occurrence, clustering, and burst detection analyses, examining publication trends, authorinstitution collaborations, geographic contributions, disciplinary distribution, and keyword evolution. Results Annual publications increased exponentially, particularly after 2018. The United States was the most productive country (351 publications), followed by China (88). Collaboration networks were decentralized with no well-defined core author group. High-frequency keywords included physical activity, older adults, sleep disorders, randomized controlled trials, and sedentary behavior. The field integrated multiple disciplines, including clinical neurology, geriatrics, psychiatry, and public health. Recent trends indicated a shift from efficacy studies to mechanistic and integrated lifestyle interventions. Conclusion Research on exercise interventions for sleep quality is growing rapidly and becoming increasingly interdisciplinary. However, academic collaboration remains fragmented. Recommendation Future studies should foster international cooperation, establish methodological consensus, develop integrated behavioral interventions, and promote the translation of evidence into clinical and public health guidelines. 背景睡眠障碍是全球一项重大公共卫生挑战。越来越多证据表明,身体活动是一种安全有效的非药物干预方式,可改善成人睡眠质量。目的本文旨在通过文献计量分析,梳理运动干预成人睡眠质量领域的研究趋势、合作网络、知识结构及发展前沿。方法基于WebofScience核心合集2007—2025年相关文献,最终纳入800篇论文,运用CiteSpace和Excel对发文趋势、作者与机构合作、国家/地区贡献、学科分布及关键词演进进行共现、聚类和突现分析。结果年度发文量呈指数增长,2018年后尤为显著。美国(351篇)和中国(88篇)发文最多。作者合作网络较为分散,未形成稳定核心群体。高频关键词包括身体活动、老年人、睡眠障碍、随机对照试验和久坐行为。该领域呈现高度跨学科特征,涉及临床神经病学、老年医学、精神病学和公共卫生等。近期研究呈现出从效果验证向机制探索及综合行为干预模式的转变。结论运动干预睡眠质量研究发展迅速且日益多元,但国际合作仍较薄弱。建议未来应加强国际协作,制定方法学共识,构建“运动+”综合干预模式,推动证据向临床与公共卫生实践转化。
