Research Hotspots, Evolution Context, and Trends of Ideological and Political Education in Physical Education Curriculum in China—A Visual Analysis based on CiteSpace

Abstract:
To intuitively demonstrate the current research status and the evolution of hotspots in ideological and political education within physical education (PE) courses in China, this study employed Cite Space 6.1 software to conduct a visual analysis of 220 relevant research papers on this topic. These papers were collected from PE core journals and CSSCI-indexed journals in the CNKI database. The study explored the characteristics and hotspots of research on ideological and political education in PE, and further analyzed the future trends of such research. The results indicate that in terms of research strength, a group of high-output authors focusing on ideological and political education in PE courses has been formed in China, with Zhao Fuxue, Dong Cui-xiang, Fan San-ming and others as the core. Additionally, certain cooperative networks have been established based on institutions, regions, and even cross-regional collaborations. In terms of research platforms, the distribution is dominated by academic journals in the field of physical education, which have become the first choice for PE researchers. Regarding research hotspots, they are mainly reflected in three aspects: the exploration of ideological and political elements in PE courses, the integrated construction of the “grand ideological and political education” concept in PE, and the literacy of PE teachers in implementing ideological and political education in courses. In terms of research trends, the development can be divided into two phases: rapid development and steady advancement. Guided by national policies, the research has been increasingly focused on the practical paths of implementing the “grand ideological and political course” initiative.
为直观展现我国体育课程思政研究现状与热点演进,借助CiteSpace6.1软件,对CNKI体育类核心期刊和CSSCI期刊收录的220篇体育课程思政研究相关文献进行可视化分析,探讨体育思政研究特征、热点,进而分析体育课程思政研究未来趋势。结果表明:我国体育课程思政在研究力量方面形成了以赵富学、董翠香、樊三明等人为主的高产作者群,并依据院校、地域甚至跨区域形成一定合作网络群;研究阵地分布以体育类学术期刊为主,成为体育科研人员的首选;研究热点主要体现在体育课程思政元素挖掘、体育大思政理念一体化建设,以及体育教师课程思政素养方面;研究趋势则分为快速发展与稳固两个阶段,并随着国家政策导向,落实于大思政课实践路径方面。
