Intervention and Effectiveness of Low Self-esteem College Students from the Perspective of Positive Psychological Capital: A Case Study Based on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy

Abstract:
This is a case report of psychological counseling that uses cognitive behavioral therapy to help a college student with low self-esteem explore growth, and to explore the process of building positive psychological qualities. The client experienced symptoms such as irritability, anxiety, self-doubt, and insomnia due to high expectations for interpersonal relationships and studies. Through 12 sessions of counseling using cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, the client successfully developed positive psychological qualities centered on self-acceptance, emotional resilience and rational optimism, Gradually, the client adjusted the unreasonable high expectations for himself, interpersonal relationships and the external environment, interpersonal relationships, and self, and the anxiety was significantly relieved. A more rational attitude towards the environment and interpersonal relationships was developed, and the sense of self-worth was enhanced, achieving the expected counseling effect.
本文是运用认知行为疗法帮助一名低自尊大学生探索成长的心理咨询案例报告,并探索其积极心理品质构建路径的过程。来访者因对人际关系和学习的高期待,出现了烦躁、焦虑、怀疑自身能力、失眠等症状,通过运用认知行为疗法的技术,经过12次咨询,成功帮助来访者构建了以“自我悦纳”“情绪韧性”及“理性乐观”为核心的积极心理品质,逐渐改变了其对环境、人际和自我的过高要求,焦虑情绪得到明显缓解,形成对环境和人际较为理性的态度,自我价值感提升,达到了预期咨询效果。
