• Abstract: The core concern of Jungian analytical psychology has always been the in-depth exploration of the individual’s unconscious. In this theoretical system, “symbol” occupies a crucial position — it is regarded as an important bridge connecting conscious and unconscious content. The unique value of expressive arts therapy lies in its ability to enable clients to overcome the defense mechanisms of language and externalize their inner psychological experiences through nonverbal creative activities. Sandplay therapy and art therapy are two of the most common forms of expressive arts therapy. Existing literature mostly focuses on individual therapies, rarely placing the two within the same theoretical framework for systematic comparison and integration. This paper, based on Jungian archetype theory and symbolism, first systematically reviews the symbolic expression paths of sandplay therapy and art therapy. Based on this, a three-layer analytical framework is constructed: the bottom layer is the archetypal base, the middle layer is the symbolic translation layer, and the top layer is the media presentation layer. Methodologically, this study combines literature review with in-depth analysis of typical cases to conduct cross-media comparison and interpretation of symbolic elements in case materials. The study found that although sandplay and drawing differ significantly in their sensory channels, they share a deep isomorphism and commonality in their underlying symbolic construction logic. Integrating these two symbolic systems not only helps therapists understand clients’ inner psychological states more completely and coherently but also provides a more comprehensive reference for clinical psychological intervention. Currently, this integrated model is still in the theoretical exploration stage, and its practical reliability and applicability require further testing with more samples and more robust empirical research. 荣格分析心理学的核心关切，一直是对个体无意识领域的深入挖掘。在这一理论体系中，“象征”占据着极为关键的位置——它被视为连接意识与无意识内容的重要桥梁。表达性艺术疗法的独特价值，在于能够让来访者突破语言的防御机制，借助非言语的创造性活动，将内在的心理体验外化呈现。沙盘游戏和绘画疗愈是表达性艺术疗法中最为常见的两种形式。现有文献多针对单一疗法展开探讨，较少将二者置入同一理论框架进行系统比较与整合。本文以荣格原型理论和象征学说为理论基础，先对沙盘游戏与绘画疗愈各自的象征表达路径进行系统梳理，在此基础上，构建了三层分析框架：底层是原型基底，中层是象征转译层，顶层是媒介呈现层。研究方法上，采用文献分析与典型案例深度解读相结合的方式，对个案材料中的象征符号进行跨媒介的比较和诠释。研究发现，虽然沙盘和绘画使用的媒介在感官通道上差别很大，但两者在象征构造的底层逻辑上，其实存在着深层的同构性和相通性。对两种象征体系整合分析，不仅能帮助疗愈从业者更完整、连贯地理解来访者的内在心理状态，也可为临床心理干预提供更全面的参考依据。当前，这个整合模型目前还处于理论探索阶段，其实践可靠性和适用范围，还需要更多样本和更扎实的实证研究检验。
