• 摘要： 薛凌，中南财经政法大学外国语学院副教授，翻译硕士导师。湖北省口译协会委员，主要研究领域为中西方翻译理论批评、中国典籍英译研究等。近五年来，出版典籍外译研究专著2部，译著1部，在国内外专业期刊发表论文十余篇，先后主持国家社科中华学术外译重点项目1项，教育部青年基金项目1项、省级科研项目4项，参与省部级科研项目4项，在中国典籍英译研究领域积累了扎实的基础，研究成果已获得学界的一定关注。2022年11月20日，在薛凌博士最新译著《知识产权精要》即将出版之际，笔者有幸对薛凌博士本人就翻译过程中的典型困难、法学学术成果的国际传播等问题进行了采访，访谈稿基于交流内容整理而成，以期对当代中国法学著述外译有所启发。
• Xue Ling, a typical scholar-translator of classical Chinese philosophy in China, has been teaching and researching in the field of translation at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law for many years. She has published two monographs on the English translation study of Chinese classics, one English translation and more than 10 papers in scholarly journals at home and abroad, focusing on areas such as translation theory criticism and approaches to cross-cultural communication. In recent 5 years, she has branched into the field of legal translation and translated her first complete English translation in law: Intellectual Property Rights: China’s Experience and Contributions, which is written by Prof. Wu Handong, the leading figure in the Intellectual Property Law of China. In November 2022, I was privileged to make an interview with Dr. Xue Ling on the occasion of the release of Intellectual Property Rights: China’s Experience and Contributions., discussing the challenges in the translation process and international communication of research results made by Chinese legal scholars, with a view to enlightening the English translation of contemporary Chinese legal writings.
