  • Abstract: By listing 48 entries with meaning explanation mistake from the first 24 pages of International Chinese Learner’s Dictionary (the Elementary Level), the paper shows that the dictionary has too many meaning explanation mistakes, which need to be corrected and improved immediately.本文罗列《国际中文学习词典:初阶》前24页中出现的有释义问题的48条词语,用以说明该词典存在太多词语释义问题,应当召回进行修订。

突破底线的“编者对语料内容的真实性也不做核实”

A Bottom Line Breaking Claiming: “No Check on the Truth of Textbook Materials”

  • Abstract: It is the moral responsibility and academic insistence of textbook writers to ensure the truth of textbook materials; If the textbook writers do not check the truth of the textbook materials, their essential qualification as a textbook writer is lost. The writers of Expressway to Chinese (Advanced) claim that they “do not check the truth of textbook materials.” and untrue materials do appear in their textbook. It is definitely unacceptable to break this bottom line of social morality and academic responsibility in textbook writing.努力保证教科书事实性知识的正确性,是教科书编写者的道义责任和学术坚守;放弃对教科书内容正确性的监控,也就失去了作为教科书编写者的最基本资质。《速通汉语(高级)》的编写者公开宣称,对教科书中语料内容的真实性“不做核实”,而教科书中也确实存在着内容不真和失实的情况。这是不可接受的突破教科书编写的社会道义和责任的底线的观点和行为。
