Research on the Relationship between Time Management Disposition and Academic Achievement of College Students —Exploration on Ideological and Political Teaching of Positive Psychology

Abstract:
Time is a very important resource. Only by learning to make good use of time can we make ourselves more efficient. Studies have shown that people with bettetime management have better academic achievement. We use adolescent time management disposition scale and academic achievement to investigate 297 university students. In order to know about the university student’s present situation of time management disposition and academic achievement. Analyze demographic variables what differences between them, and make further efforts discuss the relationship between them.The results are: (1) college student’s time management disposition is above the average, and their academic achievement is also above the average. (2) In gender, there is significant difference in time management disposition, there is no significant difference in academic achievement. (3) There is no significant difference between time management disposition and academic achievement in the place of origin,the only child or not,and grade. (4) Time management disposition and academic achievement has a obvious positive correlation.
时间是非常重要的资源,只有学会利用时间,才能让自己拥有更高的效率。有研究表明时间管理得较好的人其学业成绩也较好。所以本研究采用青少年时间管理倾向量表、学业成绩对广东培正学院297名大学生进行调查,意在了解大学生时间管理倾向跟学业成绩的现状,对两者进行人口统计学变量分析,并进一步讨论它们的关系。研究结果显示:(1)大学生的时间管理倾向在中等偏上水平,其学业成绩也在中等偏上水平。 (2)时间管理倾向在性别上无显著差异,但学业成绩在性别上差异显著。(3)时间管理倾向与学业成绩在生源地、是否为独生子女及年级上均无显著差异。(4)时间管理倾向与学业成绩之间存在显著正相关。
