Exploration and Innovative Practices for Enhancing Graduate Employment in Applied-Oriented Local Universities —A Case Study of the School of Management at Chongqing University of Science and Technology
Abstract:
Confronting the severe challenges in graduate employment landscape, addressing structural employment dilemmas in applied-oriented local universities has emerged as a critical issue in higher education. This paper systematically examined the multifaceted challenges facing graduates from applied-oriented local institutions. Taking the School of Management at Chongqing University of Science and Technology as a paradigm, it was investigated that innovative strategies including enhancing students’ professional competencies, implementing extensive corporate engagement and job market expansion initiatives, strengthening university-local government collaboration, and executing the "Three-Comprehensive Education" model. These approaches aimed to achieve fuller and higher-quality employment outcomes while providing actionable references for peer institutions to resolve employment challenges.
面对当前高校毕业生就业形势的严峻挑战,地方应用型高校如何突破结构性就业困境,成为高等教育领域的重要议题。本文系统分析了应用型地方高校毕业生就业面临的多重困境,并以重庆科技大学管理学院为例,探索通过提升大学生职业竞争力、深入访企拓岗、强化校地合作以及落实“三全育人”举措等创新途径,破解毕业生就业难题,努力促进学生更加充分、更高质量就业,为同类院校破解就业困境提供可参考的实践路径。
