Abstract:
The implementation of China’s Rural Revitalization Strategy has created new opportunities for the development of rural preschool education and placed higher demands on the quality of early childhood reading services. As highlighted in the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, optimizing the allocation of regional educational resources and strengthening preschool education are national priorities. However, the current quality of rural early childhood reading services remains inadequate. Key challenges include a shortage of reading materials, limited public cultural spaces, underdeveloped home reading environments, and a lack of qualified and professional teaching staff. This paper analyzes the current situation and problems of rural reading services in the context of the Rural Revitalization Strategy, and proposes targeted strategies to promote inclusive, equitable, and balanced development in rural preschool education. These strategies include enhancing the availability of children’s books, increasing access to child-friendly reading facilities, improving parental engagement in early reading, and establishing volunteer teams dedicated to supporting rural early childhood reading services.
乡村振兴战略的实施为我国农村学前教育事业的发展提供了新的机遇,也对农村幼儿阅读服务质量提出了更高的要求。党的二十大报告指出,优化区域教育资源配置,强化学前教育。当前,农村幼儿阅读服务质量不高,存在阅读资源匮乏、公共文化空间不足、家庭阅读环境缺失、师资力量不能满足实际需要且师资队伍不够专业等问题。本文针对“乡村振兴战略”背景下农村阅读服务质量现状,为推进农村学前教育向普惠、公平、均衡的方向迈进,提出加强幼儿图书资源建设、增加有利于幼儿阅读的服务设施、提高家长对阅读的重视以及建立农村幼儿阅读服务志愿者队伍等有效路径。
