Abstract:
This study investigates the relationship between personality traits and language learning. Using the MBTI model as a framework, we conducted a survey with selected samples to examine dominant question types in the College English Test Band 4 (CET-4), along with participants’ preparation behaviors and test-taking behaviors. The analysis revealed significant correlations between the E/I dimensions and stress management strategies, with Type E students demonstrating relaxed coping patterns and rapid decision-making, while Type I students exhibited anxiety-induced cautious decision-making. No significant associations were observed with other personality dimensions.
本研究旨在探究性格与语言学习的关联。以MBTI人格模型为基础,选取一定样本开展调查,围绕被调查者的大学英语四级考试优势题型、备考及考试中的行为表现等展开研究,并对相关数据进行分析。结果显示,E/I维度与备考压力应对、答题决策速度显著相关:E型学生倾向于以放松状态应对压力并快速决策,I型学生则倾向于因压力产生焦虑并谨慎决策;其他维度未表现出显著关联。
