  • Abstract: Deepening education for ethnic unity and progress in primary and secondary schools is an inherent requirement for forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation. Promoting the high-quality development of this education in primary and secondary schools in border areas is of great significance for enhancing ethnic unity, showcasing the national image, and consolidating border defense. This study investigates primary and secondary schools in the Guangxi border region, summarizes successful experiences and outcomes, analyzes existing problems, and proposes countermeasures and suggestions suitable for education on ethnic unity and progress in these schools. 深化中小学校民族团结进步教育,是铸牢中华民族共同体意识的内在要求。推动边境地区中小学校民族团结进步教育高质量发展,对于促进民族团结、展示国门形象、巩固国家边防具有重要意义。文章对广西边境地区中小学校进行调研,总结经验成效,分析存在问题,并提出适合该地区中小学校民族团结进步教育的对策建议。
