Abstract:
With the in-depth development of higher education popularization in China, the financial aid and talent cultivation work of colleges and universities has reached a historic juncture of profound transformation from a security-based model to a development-oriented paradigm. In the context of China’s New Era, the financial aid and talent cultivation work in private higher education institutions (PHEIs) is confronted with the dual challenges of conceptual transformation and practical innovation. However, extant research and practices have predominantly focused on well-resourced public HEIs, while paying scant scholarly and practical attention to PHEIs as a distinct cohort. Owing to their inherent particularities — including heterogeneous student demographics, constrained institutional resources, and underdeveloped professional teams — PHEIs encounter far more intricate dilemmas when advancing development-oriented financial aid and talent cultivation. Grounding its analysis in the unique attributes of financial aid and talent cultivation in Chinese PHEIs, this study conducts an in-depth dissection of three core dilemmas currently facing the sector: conceptual dilemmas, practical dilemmas, and institutional guarantee dilemmas. Integrating empirical cases drawn from the frontline work of student counselors, this paper proposes actionable practical pathways to empower PHEIs’ financial aid and talent cultivation initiatives through artificial intelligence (AI). Specifically, it argues for three interconnected measures: first, fostering a working philosophy that integrates intelligent empowerment with the core mission of talent cultivation via conceptual innovation; second, constructing a full-chain operational system featuring “precise identification – dynamic management – targeted nurturing”; and third, refining the supporting guarantee mechanism across three dimensions: technology, professional team building, and institutional system. This study ultimately aims to provide operable, evidence-based reference pathways for PHEIs to deliver high-quality implementation of development-oriented financial aid and talent cultivation.
随着我国高等教育普及化建设持续推进,高校资助育人工作迎来了从“保障型”向“发展型”深刻转型的关键阶段。在新时代背景下,民办高校资助育人工作面临着理念转型与实践创新的双重挑战。然而,现有研究与实践多聚焦于资源丰富的公办高校,针对民办高校这一特殊群体的关注相对匮乏。民办高校因生源复杂、资源约束较强、队伍建设等问题,导致其在推进发展型资助育人时面临更为复杂的困境。本文从民办高校资助育人的特殊性出发,深入分析当前面临的理念困境、实践困境和保障困境,结合辅导员工作实践中的具体案例,提出以人工智能赋能民办高校资助育人的实践路径:通过理念革新树立智能赋能与育人核心相结合的工作理念,构建“精准识别—动态管理—精准育人”的全链条工作体系,并从技术、队伍、制度三维完善保障机制,以期为民办高校高质量落实发展型资助育人工作提供具有操作性的路径参考。
