• Abstract: The survival of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) in the category of folk sports is intrinsically rooted in the cultural ecosystem of specific geographical areas, forming an integrated and interactive organic whole with the natural environment, folkloric context, inheritor communities, and the market-and-communication environment. The Traditional Dragon Dance of Linshi in Fuling District, a representative municipal-level ICH item of Chongqing, is generated and sustained by the agrarian ecology of the Yangtze River valley and the rural folklore of the Bashu region, embodying the regional cultural ethos and the collective memory of local communities. In the course of urbanisation, the restructuring of rural cultural spaces has exerted considerable impact on this dragon dance tradition, which now confronts multiple ecological predicaments: the dissolution of its original agrarian performance settings, the decline of the native folkloric atmosphere, the structural imbalance of its inheritor subjects, and the closure of its market and communication environment. Adopting cultural ecology theory as its analytical framework, this study systematically deconstructs the four-dimensional ecological constitution of the Linshi Dragon Dance — namely, its natural-geographical, rural-cultural, inheritor-community, and market-and-communication dimensions — analyses the underlying causes of its ecological disequilibrium, and accordingly proposes holistic protection pathways encompassing natural ecological restoration, humanistic ecological reconstruction, optimisation of inheritor subjects, and the openingup of the market and communication ecology. It is expected that this research will provide both theoretical reference and practical paradigms for the living transmission of analogous folk-sport ICH items in Southwest China. 民俗体育类非物质文化遗产的存续，根植于特定地域的文化生态系统，与自然环境、民俗语境、传承群体、市场与传播环境形成共生联动的有机整体。涪陵蔺市传统龙舞是重庆市级非物质文化遗产代表性项目，依托长江河谷农耕生态与巴渝乡村民俗生成，承载着地域文化精神与民众集体记忆。在城镇化进程中，乡村文化空间的面临调整，蔺市龙舞亦受到相应影响，正面临原生农耕场景消解、乡土民俗氛围退化、传承主体结构失衡、市场与传播生态闭塞等多重生态困境。本文以文化生态理论为分析框架，系统解构蔺市龙舞“自然地理—乡村人文—传承主体—市场与传播”四维生态构成体系，剖析其生态失衡的深层动因，并针对性提出自然生态修复、人文生态重构、传承主体优化、市场与传播生态打通的整体性保护路径，以期为西南地区同类民俗体育非遗的活态传承提供理论参考与实践范式。
