• Abstract: Intangible cultural heritage represents the crystallization of Chinese national wisdom and possesses significant aesthetic educational value. C-STEAM education is an interdisciplinary educational model rooted in excellent traditional Chinese culture, emphasizing inquiry-based learning integrating science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, thus providing an effective pathway for intangible cultural heritage preservation. However, current intangible cultural heritage picture books for children primarily focus on introducing cultural stories and static illustrations, lacking designs that encourage active exploration among young learners. Guided by the C-STEAM concept, this study develops a children’s paper-cutting picture book titled Acai and Mother Butterfly, incorporating elements such as scientific observation, mathematical symmetry, and hands-on technical activities. A short-term teaching practice was conducted in a senior kindergarten class, followed by feedback collection and reflection. The study preliminarily explores feasible approaches to designing children’s intangible cultural heritage picture books under C-STEAM framework, and offers references for relevant picture book creation. 非物质文化遗产是中华民族集体智慧的结晶，具有很高的美育价值。C-STEAM教育是基于中华优秀传统文化形成的跨学科教育模式，强调以中华文化为根基开展融合科学、技术、工程、艺术、数学的探究式学习活动，为非遗的活态传承提供了有效路径。当前面向低龄儿童开发的非遗绘本多以文化故事与静态图文介绍为主，缺乏引导幼儿主动探索的设计。本研究以C-STEAM教育理念为指导，尝试开发融入科学观察、数学对称、技术操作等要素的幼儿非遗剪纸绘本《阿彩与蝴蝶妈妈》，并在幼儿园大班开展短期教学实践，通过收集反馈、反思总结，初步探索了C-STEAM理念下非遗儿童绘本设计的可行路径，可为相关创作实践提供参考。
