Abstract:
Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of intolerance of uncertaintyon speech anxiety among pre-service teachers, as well as the mediating effects of achievement motivationin this relationship. Method: A survey was conducted on 328 pre-service teachers using the SpeakerConfidence Self-Rating Scale, Achievement Motivation Scale, Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale. Results:(1) Intolerance of uncertainty was positively correlated with speech anxiety among pre-service teachers;(2) Intolerance of uncertainty indirectly predicted speech anxiety through achievement motivationand the motivation to avoid failure. Conclusion: Intolerance of uncertainty among pre-service teachersinfluences speech anxiety, which is mediated by the motivation to avoid failure and achievementmotivation, in addition to its direct effect.
目的:考察无法忍受不确定性对师范生演讲焦虑的影响以及成就动机在其中的中介作用。方法:采用演说者信心自评量表、成就动机量表、无法忍受不确定性量表对328名师范生进行测量。结果:(1)师范生的无法忍受不确定性与演讲焦虑正相关;(2)师范生的成就动机和避免失败的动机均在无法忍受不确定性与演讲焦虑之间有中介作用。结论:师范生的无法忍受不确定性影响着其演讲焦虑,这种效应的机制包括无法忍受不确定性的直接效应以及通过避免失败的动机、成就动机的间接效应。
