Abstract:
With the research by psychologists on depression, current theories suggest that cognitive processing biases are significant factors leading to the development of depression. This is related to abnormalities in top-down emotional processing and also to impairments in bottom-up cognitive processing. However, the interactive mechanisms between the two types of processing mechanisms are not clear. Future research can explore the cognitive processing patterns of depression from the perspective of their interaction.
