道家学习观之“有限与无为”——心理学概念初探

  • Abstract: This study adopts a research approach of comparing cultural differences with corresponding Western psychological concepts, and then through the form of reflection based on Taoist philosophy, concludes that “non-action and limitation” are the core beliefs of the Taoist view of learning. Among them, the concept of “finite” in Taoist learning encompasses the following three levels of meaning: (1) From the perspective of existential significance, life and death are natural laws; (2) From the perspective of life values, all things are equal and without distinction. (3) From the perspective of thinking patterns, view the limitations of life from both positive and negative aspects. The concept of “non-action” in Taoist learning encompasses the following three levels of meaning: (1) From the perspective of existential significance, achieving self-transcendence after reflection; (2) From the perspective of life value, emphasize individual uniqueness and focus on process rather than result-based learning; (3) From the perspective of thinking patterns, complete acceptance and awareness of oneself, and a deeper understanding of the meaning of life. Future research can conduct operational definition studies based on the current psychological concepts of Taoist learning, develop corresponding scales, and carry out a series of empirical studies on students at different stages. 本研究采用与相应西方心理学概念进行文化差异对比的研究方式,再透过道家哲学进行反思的形式,总结出“无为与有限”是道家学习观的核心信念。其中道家学习观之“有限”包含如下三个层面的含义:(1)基于存在性意义视角,生死乃自然规律;(2)基于人生价值视角,万物平等且无分别;(3)基于思考方式视角,从正反两面看到人生有限。道家学习观之“无为”包含如下三个层面的含义:(1)基于存在性意义视角,反思后实现自我超越;(2)基于人生价值视角,重视个体独特性,重视过程而非结果式学习;(3)基于思考方式视角,对自身全然的接纳及觉察,更深地领悟人生意义。未来研究可基于目前道家学习观的心理学概念进行操作定义研究,开发相应量表,对不同阶段的学生开展一系列实证研究。
