中西方“英雄品格”概念对比及界定

A Comparative Analysis and Definition of the Concept of “Heroic Character” in Chinese and Western Contexts

• Abstract: To clarify the differences in the concept of “heroic character” between China and the West, a comparative study of the three concepts—”hero”, “character”, and “heroic character”—is conducted from the Chinese and Western perspectives respectively. By clarifying the conceptual definition of “hero” as “a person recognized by others who possesses noble character and whose actions conform to the value standards of the times,” and clarifing that “character” is oriented towards positive psychological features traits such as malleability, “heroic character” is defined as “the positive character of a ‘hero’.” Then the criteria for identifying the character are broader and tend to align with self-evaluation. Furthermore, this study put forward insights and suggestions regarding to the application and development of Chinese heroic character in the context of Sino-Western cultural exchanges. 为明晰中西方“英雄品格”概念差异，分别对“英雄”“品格”“英雄品格”3个概念进行中西方对比研究，通过明确“英雄”是“受到他人认可的品格高尚、行为符合时代价值标准的人”的概念定义，明确“品格”指向积极心理学取向，具备可塑性等特征，并将英雄品格定义为“以英雄为载体的积极品格集合”，其品格认定标准更加广泛，与自我评价存在趋同。提出中西方文化交流下中国英雄品格运用与发展的启示及建议。
