Abstract:
Taoist thought encompasses the core values of “emphasizing the process over the outcome”. Individuals focus on the creative process with a peaceful and serene state of mind, view problems from a transcendent perspective, analyze problems with dialectical thinking that integrates both Yin and Yang, and then solve problems with an independent cognitive style, thereby maximizing their talents. Based on the perspective of considering the operational characteristics of the dual system and the metacognitive working mode, the author proposes the following four cognitive models of Taoist creativity to simulate how Taoist cultural values influence the individual creative process through the cognitive system: Among the unperceived non-identity model, perceived non-identity model, unperceived identity model, and perceived identity model, it was found that the fourth "perceived identity model" is the most effective in promoting the development of individual creativity. From this, the future research is prospected from two aspects: (1) Theoretical model testing aspect: Five research hypotheses are proposed to conduct theoretical tests on existing models; (2) Educational practice application aspect: research on the creative mechanism of intergenerational inheritance and promotion of Taoist cultural values can be carried out in preschool, primary and secondary schools’ education .
道家思想包含“重过程、轻结果”的核心价值观,个体以平和宁静的心态专注于创造过程之中,用超越性视角看待问题,以兼容阴阳两面的辩证性思维分析问题,再采用场独立认知风格解决问题,从而将才华发挥至极致。基于思考双系统运作特征和元认知工作模式视角,笔者提出如下四个道家创造力认知模型对道家文化价值观如何透过认知系统影响个体创造过程进行模拟:未觉察非认同模型、觉察非认同模型、未觉察认同模型、觉察认同模型,发现其中第四个“觉察认同模型”最能促进个体创造力的发展。由此从以下两个层面对未来研究进行展望:(1)理论模型检验层面:提出5个研究假设对现有模型进行理论检验;(2)教育实践应用层面:未来可在学前教育、中小学阶段,开展有关道家文化价值观代际传承及发扬的创造力作用机制研究。
